There are plenty of sans-serif fonts available these days, yet designers are constantly seeking fresh options. They’re always after new takes on classic forms, new details, and an updated overall aesthetic. You might think this doesn’t make much of a difference, but it really does. That’s where Matter comes in. First drawn in June 2015, it has since been used in numerous projects. Matter is a grotesque typeface with a subtle, warm touch, thanks to its lively forms and diagonal terminals. Even the vertical terminals have a slight angle, adding character where you might not expect it.
